Description

Dear all,

today I presented to the Board a proposal to develop a new information system to support the OSGeo Elections [0], obtaining approval [1].

To get things going the following hosting resources are necessary:

  1. A code repository (short term).
  1. Application hosting for a data-base plus web interface (medium term). This application is meant to be used only the CRO(s) and thus not available to the general public.

Thank you.

You have any ideas on any specs you need.

For code repository, I think you can just create an org on gitea and add a repo -- https://git.osgeo.osg/gitea or add it under the osgeo org

Let us know if you have questions or need permissions.

For application hosting, you have any ideas on what you need here? specs of server, database, application(s) you will be using?
