email alias for contacting board and officers

The ​Board and Officers page lists the public representatives of our foundation.

Request an email alias for each role.

Context: A key feedback from recent website feedback survey was how difficult it was to contact these individuals, if at all. Click through to *profile*, then click through to an advocate wiki page, etc...

For the project officer this is more of a role, similar to the ​board and officers roles for:

• president@osgeo.org
• secretary@osgeo.org
• treasurer@osgeo.org
• no alias for the vice presidents
• no alias for the officers

The ​contact page has:

• info@osgeo.org - info address is not monitored regularly, and forwards only to a few recipients and is therefore not recommended

Setting up role for each project would provide a reliable email address to contact each project.

My request is for the role, not the person:

• geotools-officer@osgeo.org - would indicate an individual person, good for use in a formal context, license inquiry, patent issue, code of conduct policy, etc...

Alternates for consideration:

• geotools-info@… - similar to "info" above, acting as a general point of contact, could be monitored by several people
• geotools@… - short, may be confused for email list, ...

We don't have mailboxes. president@… is currently pointing at Angelos personal address.

Is there a machine readable official list of those roles-to-email mappings ? I'm thinking we could have a script that produces the aliases

That is a good idea - it would be good to have teams record their contact person on each project page.
