Description (last modified by peterafrigis)

Hi, it looks like there are intermittent problems with repo.osgeo.org. This affects GeoServer builds e.g. https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/actions/runs/9898376054/job/27360633284?pr=7770

Error: 8,546 [ERROR] org.geotools:gt-process-feature:jar:32-20240711.213033-60 failed to transfer from https://repo.osgeo.org/repository/snapshot/ during a previous attempt. This failure was cached in the local repository and resolution is not reattempted until the update interval of osgeo-snapshots has elapsed or updates are forced. Original error: Could not transfer artifact org.geotools:gt-process-feature:jar:32-20240711.213033-60 from/to osgeo-snapshots (https://repo.osgeo.org/repository/snapshot/): Connect to repo.osgeo.org:443 [repo.osgeo.org/140.211.15.6] failed: Read timed out

Andrea reports that it might just be very slow.

Can someone investigate what the problem might be, please?

I was directed here when looking at https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/3222 - which is specifically about problems deploying (and not slow or timeout related).

The user interface for repo.osgeo.org seems fine, but local deploy fails (not just the build server).
