Hello,
I would like to have a category created for my local chapter. I don't think we'll require any mailing list content to be moved over but just for your information, our mailing list is alberta@….
Please let me know if you require any further information from me.

Hi Scott, I've created the Alberta category inside Local Chapters
https://discourse.osgeo.org/c/local-chapters/alberta
No special settings applied, anyone can post, read, etc.
If you can't edit the introductory post in the topic I can put there any content you would like to show up there, or just create a new and we can replace this one
