Description
I (bedupako [Arun Thakur]) recieved the mantra and did the necessary steps to join OSGeo dsicourse by LDAP but on creating a new account, there was an error with my email saying it was already in use. I had signed up to the OSGeo Discourse using my GitHub during the contribution period and I think that may be the reason why.

@bedupako changed the email id on the account registered from github and removed the github id from it as well. Then created an account using LDAP and added the github account to the newly created LDAP account.
That created 2 accounts, That need to be merged.
There's a user in discourse that starts with your user here in OSGeo and created through Github, so what you mention is very likely.
If you really want to login with LDAP I imagine you can just update that old account to use a different email address, then login with LDAP to get a new account and merge both later to retain history of the existing account.
