Description
Slack is a popular communication platform for a lot of project developers. It would be nice if we could add a Slack icon and URL to join our project under the Projects > Communication > Social media tab.

Please add slack, discourse, all the different things.
Our goal is to meet projects where they are at. Include them in the OSGeo tent, and then show them a better way. Although the "enshitification" of proprietary platforms is a common enough experience now ...

I would actually be against advertising proprietary platforms. See also #3034 for adding free software based communication platforms and #3041 for giving easier access to the existing OSGeo Matrix homeserver ( accessible via https://matrix.to/#/#osgeo:osgeo.org )
