Description

Slack is a popular communication platform for a lot of project developers. It would be nice if we could add a Slack icon and URL to join our project under the Projects > Communication > Social media tab.

I would actually be against advertising proprietary platforms. See also #3034 for adding free software based communication platforms and #3041 for giving easier access to the existing OSGeo Matrix homeserver ( accessible via ​https://matrix.to/#/#osgeo:osgeo.org )

We already have icons for Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and many other proprietary platforms. How is Slack different?
