Description

Adam Stewart reports the following via incubation committee:

Working on this now. I'm trying to add a logo. It looks like SVG files are not supported, is it possible to install a Wordpress plugin for SVG support? I converted to a 720 x 412 PNG file like the documentation says, but I get the following error when I try to upload the file:

"The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2560 pixels."

Any idea what's wrong with the server?

Are we out of space :)

Nope not out of disk space. Jive,

Are you having issue uploading the file as well. I'll look into installing a wordpress plugin for SVG. I suppose it could be the RAM allocated, though I can't imagine why it wouldn't have been an issue before.

I have not tried; just reporting a stuck user.

Original person who encountered the issue here!

I just tried again today and it worked fine. So might just be a false alarm.

The guidance on https://www.osgeo.org/community/getting-started-osgeo/add-service-provider/ suggests an image of size 720 x 412, however when I upload my logo it says it's too small and should be at least 740 px wide. So one of those two is incorrect, but not sure which. Happy to change the dimensions to whatever you want.

okay closing this out then. @jive not sure what you want to do about the image discrepancy thing.

We should also put in a separate ticket for svg if that is something we want.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
