Description
Similar to ticket:132 we need an FTP account on the telascience server to upload FOSS4G2008 workshop files. Notes:
- need a large amount of space to handle VM's and images, such as 100 GB
- user should be foss4g2008'
- restrict the 'foss4g2008' user to have a default directory of /home/foss4g2008/

William Waites has provided us with a nice virtual server for a month at:
foss4g.styx.org
I have root access. Lots of disk space. Some configuration of the installed vsftpd likely required. Tyler and/or I will look into it.

Williams now set it up so there is a user who can upload. I asked anonymous access to be removed and Jeff now has all the info needed to use the service. There is around 250GB free.
Sorry for the delay on this Jeff - hope you are good to go now!

when I try to create a directory with the 'foss4g2008' user I get permission denied errors.

William fixed it. I've now tested it and gave Jeff sudo access to the box. Should be good now.
