Description
, which makes it hard to tell they exist.
I suppose this would require toggling enable_room_list_search
and/or allow_public_rooms_over_federation
.

It's working fine now. I see 11 public rooms.

My mistake, I was looking at the space, not the server. The room list is still not public.

Finally fixed by restarting Synapse.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
I've enabled federation browsing of public rooms with https://git.osgeo.org/gitea/sac/matrix-synapse-config/commit/3cc43e76e7fd5d823c74c2ed24f1df252bdf7202 (it takes permissions to see).
Do you have hints about triggering re-reading the configuration by the running service (if synapse is always running, I'm not even sure) ? If you do, could you please write them in https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/SAC:MatrixSynapse ?
This ticket should only be closed once someone confirms they can browse public rooms while not connected to the osgeo homeserver.
