Okay I've setup nginx now and also setup a download.osgeo.org cache on here to take up some of the load.
I still need to review some tools for analysing webstats and also need to do a full blown rsync of download on here or at least core files and refer back to main server for less commonly used files.
so now download.osgeo.org is being services by osgeo7, osgeo8, and osgeo9
