this may be fixed with https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/2721#comment:4 but i'm logging it separately as it's a different symptom
emails bounce with a bunch of these:
<foo@gmail.com> (expanded from <mantra-request@>): host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[142.250.107.27] said: 550-5.7.26 This message does not have authentication information or fails to 550-5.7.26 pass authentication checks. To best protect our users from spam, the 550-5.7.26 message has been blocked. I guess the solution here would be to turn mantra-request to a mailing list ?
