Install new MediaWiki instance to host FOSSGIS conference

The Wiki for the FOSSGIS conference operated by the DACH Local Chapter (in formation), GAV e.V. and freegis.org is kindly hosted by Till Adams from terrestris (​http://www.terrestris.de).

It was initially set up as an interim solution but has been running liek this since 16:01, 20 December 2005. It runs on a development server operated by terrestris and they need it for all kinds of other stuff so that no one from the conference team can physically access it.

To consolidate this infrastructure and allow more people to administer and maintain the Wiki software and change settings as required the FOSSGIS conference team decided to ask OSGeo to host this Wiki.

Several individuals from the German community would join SAC to be able to take care of migration and maintenance so that the additional overhead for SAC should be minimal. Eventually this might also help to spread administrative tasks on more shoulders within SAC.

Additional Information: This is a managed Wiki, users have to be added manually. For the time being this will stay that way.

I have created an account for Arnulf on osgeo2, and added Martin (Spott) and Dietmar to the cc list for this ticket.

Arnulf, please coordinate with Martin on wiki management, and create an account for Dietmar if suitable.

There ought to be a topic about the wiki setup in the wiki (for reference when it is down?) but I can't find one. Perhaps one could be added, linked off:

It's not clear to me that this ever happened, or still needs to. The information in this ticket is 2 years old at this point, so for now, I'm simply going to close this since there is no further requested action from SAC.
