Description ¶
This is a follow-up to https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/2605
As discussed in https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/gdal-dev/2021-June/054231.html, we got feedback from NumFOCUS that the term Board had precise legal meaning and involves more than we want, hence we've decided to rename that group to "GDAL Advisory Coucil".
Could you please rename the gdal-advisory-board at lists.osgeo.org mailing list to gdal-advisory-council at lists.osgeo.org ? If it is easier, you can just delete the exist list and recreate it (with same restriction that posting is restricted to authorized members, but archives can be seen by anyone). There has been no traffic yet on it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Vicky. I posted a new test message to the new email, and received it, but it doesn't appear in the online archive at https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/gdal-advisory-council/ (there should be a June archive with it.)
Not sure if that might be related but in https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/admin/gdal-advisory-council/general , I did 2 minor changes: change the "real_name" setting from "Gdal-advisory-council" to "gdal-advisory-council" (lower case initial 'g'), and similarly for the "subject_prefix" setting.

Thanks for letting me know. I will take this into account the next time I try to do a rename of a mailing list.
I think there is no harm done, as "there has been no traffic to it yet"

Is it really resolved ? I've just sent a new email to the list, but can't see any June archive: https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/gdal-advisory-council/

Re-opening as the issue with archive not working still persists

It is my understanding that when a month did not have a mail the month will not show up: For example in here:
https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/pgrouting-dev/
There is no mail on april 2020, so april 2020 does not show on the list.
When I saw the "board" archive only May had mails. So I deduced the copy is correct as it did copy the May archive, I did not see a mail in June.
Can you tell me which mail sent on June was missed please.

The sending of the email to the subscribers works, since I've received a copy of the emails I sent to the list. But they don't appear in the archive at https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/gdal-advisory-council/ , such as the one attached "[gdal-advisory-council] Test renamed list - take 2.eml"

@rouault
Changed
I did a rename, therefore everything like the only 2 members and the only test mail should be there.
To enter: used the same information I sent when I created the original one
