Description
Through my participation with geonetwork-opensource I have had an opportunity to work on a "metadata101" plugin for iso19139.ca.HNAP (this is a Canadian profile of the ISO 19139 North American Profile)
The server hosting this schema is being decommissioned and I am evaluating options for where it can be hosted in a vendor neutral location. While metadata101 is vendor neutral, and not directly tied geonetwork-open source. setting up metadata101.github.io/schemas GitHub pages still ties it to a specific forge (GitHub).
For reference OGC provides http://schemas.opengis.net to host published schemas.
Q: Is it appropriate to ask for osgeo hosting?
- osgeo.github.io/schemas - github pages, implicitly backed by a git repository
- schemas.osgeo.org - web service, backed by git repostiory
- repo.osgeo.org/repository/schemas - setup a RAW repository to host files (nota very good option)
Any preference or discussion to be had here? What is the next step ...
