Wiki: permission error when accessing Watchlist

Description

One of the important feature to monitor changes on a wiki is the 'watchlist'. Unfortunately, at the moment, users cannot access their own watchlist on OSGeo's wiki.

Trying to access https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Special:Watchlist generates the error message:

Permission error

You do not have permission to view your watchlist, for the following reason:

The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: *.

Furthermore, there are no links to the Watchlist in the wiki top-bar tabs. Thanks!

I don't see your account in the system. What is your wiki login or do you not have one. If you never had one, just log in and see if you still can't see the watchlist.

Thanks @robe , here's my user account: https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/User:Aleroux , this account has been live since at least 2006 (see userpage history) and has been recently mandatorily migrated to the LDAP users accounts.

The error I reported currently happens when logged in. I've been using the Watchlist feature on the OSGeo wiki for ++years and the feature now seems broken / inaccessible. Thanks!

In case (@robe), you need a working account for comparison:

  • my watchlist works fine: "271 pages are on your Watchlist (plus talk pages). Email notification is enabled"

Try now. We still have a bug in that migrated accounts aren't been removed from "needs merging" and "merge in progress". I just removed those from your account.
