MediaWiki login fail for user Darkblue_b

Description
in the last ten days, I have tried to log in to wiki.osgeo.org a few times. My historical login has an underscore in the ID, which MediaWiki shows as a space in many cases. This has the effect of making a space and the underscore, synonyms in various places in MediaWiki. BUT I have always been able to login. Now, it is not working.. ??

okay I did a reset password on Darkblue_b and that he says fixed it. darkblueb, feel free to reopen if I misunderstoo.

I confirmed Darkblue_b account exists, but it's not in active list of users which I presume is the issue.
I don't see it in blocked list either and can't find a checkbox in system to reactivate it. It doesn't show in pending activation list either.
Anyone who knows more about wiki please chime in - thanks. If not I can ask our LDAP Wiki contractor how to reactivate or what could have caused the deactivation
