osgeo.org favicon is missing instead wordpresse favicon is displayed

Should be fixed now. Was missing some folders from skins

Did this to fix while ssh'd into osgeo3-wiki

cd /var/www
mv wiki_osgeo_old/images wiki_osgeo/images
cp -R wiki_osgeo_old/skins/common wiki_osgeo/skins/common
cp -R wiki_osgeo_old/skins/htmldump wiki_osgeo/skins/htmldump
cp -R wiki_osgeo_old/skins/Modern wiki_osgeo/skins/Modern
cp -R wiki_osgeo_old/skins/CologneBlue wiki_osgeo/skins/CologneBlue

I didn't copy the whole folder since the new had folders not in old and wasn't sure if copying over like folders would overwrite new mediawiki changes.

• favicon is ther too with Chromium ​https://wiki.osgeo.org

But this ticket is about ​https://osgeo.org our wordpress instance. This still shows the W-logo-favicon from wordpress

Okay copied my comment to the wiki ticket and closed that one out. I'll look at the wordpress issue next. You know if this is a recent issue? Want to rule out any wordpress updates.

I fixed the browser tab icon by going to - ​https://www.osgeo.org/wp-admin/themes.php -> Roots (Customize) -> Site Identity

and then uploading this image - ​https://github.com/OSGeo/osgeo/blob/master/marketing/branding/logo/osgeo-emblem-rgb.png

That supposedly controls both the tab icon and the favicon.

Unfortunately when I try to drag and drop the address, I always get the chrome icon in chrome. Firefox seems to give me the wordpress icon, but I suspect that maybe be cached somewhere.

Can you see if this fixes your issue.

okay I think that fixed the favicon too. I went to an internal page and dragged and dropped the icon address and got the osgeo icon this time.
