osgeo3 needs new power supply and hard drives

The both power supplies and all drives we purchased last year were used on osgeo4.

osgeo3 has now got all it's VMS turned off, it's firmware has been upgraded and is ready for reformatting and having nice shiny new drives and power supply.

I would like it to be setup much like osgeo4 but will be used as a production machine instead of dev one and I'll start moving the old containers back to it.

I think we'll need to make similar purchase for osgeo4 at current prices so 2 power supplies and 6 2TB Seagate drives whcich I guestimate with current prices about $800

Can we please get some traction on this ticket. I'd like to have osgeo3 hardware set so I can rebuild it. I've been hesitant to offer people services on OSGEO infrastructure without an additional server.

The plan was:

osgeo7 - mission critical stuff (fairly non-security risky stuff)

osgeo4 - play stuff, development environment, holds backups for osgeo7 (possible osgeo3)

osgeo3 - production, somewhat security risky stuff (e.g. CI containers and VMS), old containers

I think I replied on the list. I wanted verification if we actually needed power supplies. My understanding was the previous order had 1 for osgeo3 and 1 for osgeo4.

Hard drives is straight forward, will try to put that together soon.

wildintellect - sorry I guess I missed that. Regarding the power supplies. It's my understanding from Lance that he used both in osgeo4 because it had 2 slots at anyrate power supply seems cheap enough that we might as well spend the $60 bucks. Worst case we've have them as spares.
