The vendor has requested the drupal database and directories for efficiency (rather than a backup of the drupal website). This activity was scheduled to complete July 10th.

Notes from meetings with vendor:

2017-07-24 Meeting

  • database and directories - no update yet
  • Stuck on database and directories - new contacts venka and jeff mckeena contacts

2017-07-19 Meeting

  • Action: Jody and Jeff to follow up on getting website backup from JeffM

2017-07-12 Meeting

  • Need an export of the website: copy of the database (rather than the backup)
  • Action: Need system administrator to provide database dump and contents of local directories

I have created an account for Jeffrey Lasut (osgeotest2), and I have had to add it to the "sac" group so it can login to www.osgeo.org. We should remove this account from this group when the effort is done as that is somewhat priveledged:

https://www.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/auth/ldap_shell.py?group=sac

I have also given the account sudo access via /etc/group on this one system.

I have done a bit of poking, and the OSGeo site database is named "drupal_osgeo", and should be accessed via the user named "osgeouser"

eg.

mysql -u osgeouser -p drupal_osgeo

The password is in the $db_url setting in /var/www/html/sites/osgeo.org/settings.php

There are a number of web sites served from this web server, but I think /var/www/html/sites/osgeo.org is the one we want.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about Drupal or Mysql to be sure what I ought to tar up, so I'm hoping Jeffrey knows. If not I can try to help.
