Description
gogs is a Go Git Service similar to github/gitlab but with fully internationalized interface and distributed under the MIT license: https://gogs.io/
It does have a LDAP connector so could use OSGeo accounts out of the box
This ticket is to deploy a test instance.

Actually, I've finally moved the sandbox to osgeo, at the moment: https://git.osgeo.org/_gogs_/ (to be moved to final url after some further tests).

I've wrote some info about Gogs, and about Git Services in general (follow the links) from https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/SAC:Gogs
Further tasks for this install could be handled directly via Gogs: https://git.osgeo.org/_gogs_/sac/gogs-config/issues (private) https://git.osgeo.org/_gogs_/sac/gogs-service/issues (public)
FYI: I've setup a sandbox on my own tv :) Unfortunately at the moment the service is unable to receive big repositories. I could only push the code for postgis-0.9 and even then it broke the server.
But the LDAP authentication works nicely. If you want to test (but please don't hammer and don't count on it to be on) it is here: http://tuscia.pallamondo.net
