Please describe your Project
Our project name is *JVNMobileGIS*, it's a mobile map viewer developed with Java ME technology. Support fetching map data from remote server to view on mobile devices. Focus on OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium - http://www.opengeospatial.org/) and JCP (The Java Community Process - http://jcp.org/) specifications.
Why is hosting at OSGeo good for your project?
OSGeo is the organization aim for GIS promotion. Hosting at OSGeo will help us reach more members and our software will be used by many user around the world. We can contribute and get experience to improve our project better.

This project is a mobile client application.

Our code is released under GNU General Public License 2.0.

Our project's origin is experimental.

Which ones and to what extent? (OGC, w3c, ect.) Has the software been certified to any standard (CITE for example)? If not, is it the intention of the project owners to seek certification at some point?
Yes, our project supports open standards of OGC and JCP. Our software has not been certified to any standard yet, we are going to seek for certification.
Is the code free of patents, trademarks, and do you control the copyright?
Yes, the code is free of patents and trademarks. Some of the code is taken from other open-source projects which are required to preserve the copyright information.
How many people actively contribute (code, documentation, other?) to the project at this time?
There are 3 persons actively contribute to project at this time.
How many people have commit access to the source code respository?
3 persons have commited access to source code respository. The number of persons have read-only access as anonymous is unknown.
Approximately how many users are currently using this project?
There are about 20 users now.
What type of users does your project attract (government, commercial, hobby, academic research, etc. )?
We attract government and academic research.
If you do not intend to host any portion of this project using the OSGeo infrastructure, why should you be considered a member project of the OSGeo Foundation?
Because we want to involve in GIS promotion.

Yes, our project have automated build, automated test is on working.

We use Java.

The estimated size of full release is 100 KB. We expect 500 downloads of this project when it is released.
