Description
Sangshee Shin, chair of the FOSS4G 2015 LOC, has requested the following new mailing lists, all private.
- foss4g2015-workshop
- foss4g2015-asia
- foss4g2015-academy
- foss4g2015-presentation

So apart from -asia, the lists shouldn't be specific for foss4g 2015, right?
Workshops archive is public nowadays, should it be closed as requested?

Honestly, I wonder if Sanghee needs an actual mailing list, or he actually needs an alias (like in ticket#1422).

Well, we need to know the purpose of those addresses, are they for discussion of a group? that discussion has to be private for a good reason? maybe they are only to receive some kind of information for a small group of people?
Well, then I'll wait until we have a better idea of what those addresses are meant to be.

Jorge, they have decided to use other ways for now, and also the existing mailing lists. Thanks though.
Note that a workshop mailing list, and an academic mailing list already exist, and should/must be used for FOSS4G Seoul (because experts/presenters from past FOSS4G events already are registered on them, and you can use these lists for FOSS4G Seoul discussions, and to share your updates right away):
