MetaCRS e-mails don't get through, but also not stuck in submission queue

Description
Both Andreas Hocevar and myself tried to send an e-mail to MetaCRS, but it does not get through. I can see it's not stuck in the submission queue, so no idea what's going on.
FrankW any ideas? TIA.

It appears Andreas sent it from his wrong e-mail address (opengeo.org one), but he doesn't get a bounce msg and it doesn't show up in the submission queue.
