Wiki table formatting does not work in Trac

Description
According to the Trac docs, it should be possible to format non-simple tables with reStructuredText or using MoinMoin markup for tables.
I tried to use all of these options and none works for me. I can only format simple tables with double pipes:
||a1||a2|| ||b1||b2||
what looks as follows:
| a1 | a2 |
| b1 | b2 |
May be there are some configuration options required to enable support of more Wiki formtters or reStructuredText.

Hobu has turned on reST support successfully. It works so the ticket can be closed.
