The tutorial data from: ​http://demo.mapserver.org/tutorial/tutorial.zip indicated in the tutorial/documentation webpage: http://mapserver.org/tutorial/background.html#tutorial-data is not available

Thanks for reporting this here. I've updated the documents with the correct link, which should be visible on the live website soon. (correct download link: ​http://download.osgeo.org/mapserver/docs/mapserver-tutorial.zip)
