Description
MapServer uses a pixel-center based extent model which is a bit different than what GDAL or WMS use. Need to document this fact a bit better...
For a graphic see this PDF file. I also have the original Illustrator file if anyone's interested.

I'm thinking RFC 25 is dead. We're just too far down the road with the existing model (which I prefer by the way).

Among a lot of other things, a note was added in the introduction for trunk and 6.0 documentation on the current extent model in r12052. I guess more needs to be done, so I am not closing. Are there plans to go through with RFC 25?
