Reported by: jlpoole Owned by: jmckenna
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Documentation - MapServer Version: unspecified
Severity: major Keywords:

Description

At http://mapserver.org/introduction.html under "Gallery -- See examples of existing MapServer applications." contains a link to:

http://ms.gis.umn.edu/gallery/galleryfolder_view

which results in:

Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

The proxy server could not handle the request GET /gallery/galleryfolder_view.

Reason: Could not connect to remote machine: Connection refused

For someone new to this area and interested in the topic, being able to see examples of mapserver's potential is critical to an evaluation; I hope this can be quickly fixed and returned to normal operation.

After reading this ticket fixed, at 9:32 a.m. PDT, I reloaded http://mapserver.org/introduction.html and clicking the link "examples" which takes me to "http://ms.gis.umn.edu/gallery/galleryfolder_view" and produces:

Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

The proxy server could not handle the request GET /gallery/galleryfolder_view.
