Mapserv CGI - Group name passed in "LAYERS" parameter

This is regards to mapserv (cgi)

I am not sure if this is by design or not however when you pass in a group name in the "layers" parameter it draws the entire group regardless to the status of the individual layers.

I caught this when I had a layer name that was the same value as a group name in the map.

If this is an intended behavior then perhaps some documentation should be listed @ http://mapserver.org/cgi/controls.html#variables

This is the intended behavior. Asking for the group gets you the whole group. Moving to the doc component so things can be clarified.

Notes have been added for GROUP and STATUS in the layer document for trunk and 6.0 documentation in r12582.
