using this demo here: http://maps.dnr.state.mn.us/mapserver_demos/workshop-5.0.zip provided in the tutorial/documentation
loadWeb(): Unknown identifier. Parsing error near (IMAGEPATH):(line 1)

i indeed did add a tmp/ directory inside mapserver
