I can't be of much help on Windows. Reassigning to Howard and adding Assefa to CC

Jeff said to bug you guys about fixing this :)

I do have a working version of the msplugin_mssql2008.dll date Dec. 2007 from the mapdotnet project. It has a few bugs though.

I am willing to do some testing on your compiled version.

Thanks, Chad

if there is a working version out there then maybe I am compiling it wrong. anyway let's leave this ticket open in hopes that a mapserver developer can come to our rescue.

I will give it a quick try and report of I have something.

There was a weird bug where a comment line was not closed, affecting the next line in the file (possibly introduced when the comments formats were changed ??).

I have corrected this in trunk r7917 and in 5.2.x r7918.

With this correction, I was able to display a mapserver layers (using shp2img) with the plugin.

Please, rebuild with the latest from SVN and give it a try.
