MapStudio joins the MapGuide Open Source project as MapGuide Maestro

Kenneth Skovhede and the MapGuide Open Source Project Steering Committee are pleased to announce that MapStudio Open Source has officially joined the MapGuide project under a new name: MapGuide Maestro

MapGuide Maestro is a desktop application written in cross-platform C#, and is regularly tested under both Mono and Windows. With MapGuide Maestro, users can manage their MapGuide data and maps with ease, taking advantage of advanced editing features while retaining the power to directly modify the underlying XML.

The first release of MapGuide Maestro (v1.0.7) is now available from its new home on the MapGuide Open Source website:
