Problem with mapguide-2.0.1.2716.tar

Description
The compressed file mapguide-2.0.1.2716.tar is well? Because within the tar file, there are files with names cut, for example mapguide-2.0.1\Oem\dbxml-2.3.10\xerces-c-src\Projects\Win32\VC7.1\xerces-all\DOMNormalizerTest\DOMNo whose name should be DOMNormalizerTest.vcproj and not DOMNo, among other files. The names of the routes are cut to 100 characters (at least when I open or decompress the files on Windows).
Thanks

I don´t know, I've tried with winzip, winrar, gzip for windows, tar for windows, wintar, powerarchive and nothing, the main thing is happening.
The curious thing is that I have compressed with winrar and with winzip the file C:\MAPGUIDE2\mapguide-2.0.1\Oem\dbxml-2.3.10\xerces-c-src\src\xercesc\validators\schema\identity\IdentityConstraintHandler.hpp and I have extracted, and it has been compressed and extracted well.
This problem occurs only on Windows. I believe that the only solution is to make a zip with winzip or rar with winrar and upload it to the repository for people who want to install Windows.

Thanks for trying those things out. I'll see if the build person can also create a zip file from the Windows source. Based on ticket #644, the tar ball is missing some Windows files anyway.

I tried opening the file using WinZip 9 and saw the same problem that you did. However, on Linux the file is fine. Perhaps this is a WinZip problem, can you try using tar and gzip on Windows and see if the same problems happen? Or do you know of any reason on why WinZip would fail?
