MapGuide is currently not buildable on Ubuntu 18.04. This ticket tracks all fixes required.

What can be fixed (xqilla not building, compatibility fixes for system-installed xerces) has been fixed.
What cannot be fixed is that we can't build the bundled PHP (5.6) due to incompatible system-provided openssl. Since we're going to be upgrading that in due course, I'm considering this as fixed.
