Docker containers are much more lightweight than vagrant-driven VirtualBox VMs and offers the same isolation and repetitive environment that we currently have with vagrant.

Hi Bruce,
This ticket isn't related to the mapguide docker image I've put on docker hub. It's more an idea of a CentOS/Ubuntu docker image (pre-loaded with all the required dev dependencies) that I can spin up to easily build the MapGuide sources in a clean/reproducible manner.
I've made an issue on your github repo about some ideas/directions you could take this in.

I don't know if it already exists but I did one brucepc/mapguide, I'm working on this image to be as light as possible, and optional configurations such like default ports
What about MapGuide Open Source official image on hub.docker.com ?[[BR]]
