Description

I have just installed MapGuide 3.0 via the instant set-up package. I am trying to login for the first time and the default id and password does not work. I have tried to reinstall, but have not had any luck.

Is the default id and password for 3.0 different than 2.2?

Default id/password has always been the same.

If you've running InstantSetup in a place that already has MapGuide installed, make sure you've specified different port numbers in the InstantSetup utility to make sure that your 3.0 web tier isn't communicating with your older MapGuide Server by mistake.
