Description
It would be nice to have some sort of tool to check if a current selected folder or list of resources is compatible with another MapGuide Server.
For example, suppose we are connected to a MGOS 2.2 site and we want to migrate this to a MGOS 2.0 site. The check would check for any new resource types and versions introduced since MGOS 2.0. If the check finds any such resources that match this criteria, they are flagged as potentially incompatible resources.
Likewise, if we a connected to a MGE site and we want to migrate this data to an MGOS site. The check would also check for any Feature Sources using the commerical FDO providers. The check would flag them (and resources referencing them) as potentially incompatible resources.
This would be a useful tool for flagging any potential problems when moving data to an older version of MapGuide or from MGOS to MGE or MGE to MGOS
