Fustion Templates - menu buttons don't work, status bar messed up

Description
I installed 2.1. The fusion templates have a bug. The map shows, but if I click on a button, e.g. View menu, Show Legend, then IE gets an error, see below. Also, the status bar shows nothing but the x value for the cursor position. Everything else in the status bar is missing.
Running on Server 2008 & IIS. IE reports a bug on line 64883:9, "Object Expected". If I open auqa.index.html, Visual Studio shows a warning:

The line at this location is: "Fusion._singleFile = singleFile;"
Use either the latest stable release of Fusion or try the 2.4 preview.
