Umlaute wrong in 'Add WMS from Filtered List'

Description
Umlaute (Ä = Ä ,Ü = Ü ,Ö = Ö ,ä = ä ,ü = ü ,ö = ö ,ß = ß ) are shown wrong in "Add WMS from filtered List" (GUI-Names, GUI-Abstract, WMS-Names, WMS-Abstract).
Note: It's OK in "Add WMS from List".

platform specific problem ?
See Note! No Problem in "Add WMS from List", only in "... filtered List". What's the Difference?
System:
Server: Debian 4, PostgreSQL 8.1, Mapbender-DB Encoding "LATIN1"
Client: M$ Win XP

Works for me.
All these modules will be unified in the next version 2.6, so I guess this will be solved in 2.6.

fixed by converting to UTF-8 before calling json_encode see http://trac.osgeo.org/mapbender/changeset/4658
I can't reproduce the problem in ubuntu wirth firefox, maybe its already fixed of just a platform specific problem
