• GRASS GIS 8 release schedule
  • we are at a very good point
  • lots of conferences upcoming where GRASS GIS 8 will be advertised in talks and demo sessions
  • Martin to provide basic "WinGRASS 8" instructions on the Wiki, Vero happy to beautify them
• Sponsoring
  • Two options: OpenCollective or NUMFocus (originally founded by numpy etc).
  • it would be ideal if OSGeo takes the role of being the fiscal host
  • The OSGeo treasurer has already registered the GRASS GIS project under the hood of OSGeo in OpenCollective
    • OSGeo would take 5% of donations
