#2467 new defect

wxGUI: zoom out in latlong location confused by global wrap around

Reported by: spareeth Owned by: grass-dev@…
Priority: normal Milestone: 7.2.4
Component: wxGUI Version: svn-trunk
Keywords: GUI, extent, latlong Cc:
CPU: Unspecified Platform: Linux

Description

Hi

For a global latlong image(-180,90,180,-90) zooming out from maximum extent is destroying the scene in the view. This is a latlong thing, may be when we open an image in latlong, it is better to lock the zoom feature at maximum extent. Below attached the screen shots explaining the issue.

Attachment1: Image zoomed to extent (zoomtoExtent.png)
Attachment2: Image zoomed out of extent (zoomout.png)
Attachment3: extent shown while zoomed out (zoomout_extent.png)

regards

Sajid
