Description
Hi,
just trying to help someone with the georectifyer tool, and it seems we don't have a good step by step tutorial for it explaining the workflow.
raw image + GPS points of features in the image --> projected image in local UTM.
any copyright-free aerial photos of North Carolina about?
here's the old page for tcl/tk:
(still valid if you tell g.gui to use tcl/tk..)
note the old i.points workflow was push from simple x,y to target location, and the new wxGUI way is to pull from simple x,y into projected location. -- can we skip the import to simple x,y and work with unreferenced jpegs directly?
see also http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/manuals/wxGUI.GCP_Manager.html
thanks, Hamish

Hamish, What flavor of NC aerial photos do you want? For the Raleigh area, I have 4 band Summer 2012 1 meter resolution ( UTM Zone 17N NAD83 ) aerial photos,
How many photos? I assume that the photos would need to be from the same area as the other NC data ?
