r.to.vect -v flag creates corrupt file

Description
The -v flag in r.to.vect is creating a corrupt vector file. It looks like it is some kind of error reading the raster file, but is easier to show in an image than to describe. I've attached a display of a file created with the -v flag. It seems to work fine without the -v flag. This is with an update from the svn trunk as of 24 Dec. 2010.

For me, working in the NC dataset
g.region rast=streams_derived r.to.vect -v streams_derived out=streams_derived
works perfectly.
As this report is 3 years old, I'll close it for now. Reopen if needed.

The image I just posted is based on using r.to.vect -v on a stream network created with r.watershed in the Spearfish demo set.
