Description
Hello,
r.transect seem to had a width option to create swath profiles. In GRASS6.x this option commented out, and no traces of such functionality is in the source code. I've checked the archives back to GRASS3.2 and since 4.0 the code seems similar to the current one.
If no legacy grass code provide this function (maybe I just did not find it), I'd propose to implement this enhancement in r.transect.
