Description
There is a ticket in GDAL Trac related to libgeotiff : http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/2664
Please add this projection to libgeotiff, so that GDAL can support it in a future version.

I have briefly considered but I hesitate to add new transformation methods to libgeotiff without discussing with the geotiff community.
deferring
