Ability to load attached WMC from catalogue

Proposal

The user will get the possibility to add a iso19139 record describing a map-context. The map context document (for example generated by geonetwork map viewer) can be attached to the record as a onlineresource (upload). When a WMC-iso19139 record is discovered in the catalogue a button will be displayed to open the attached WMC in the geonetwork map viewer.

Upload WMC

Currently a WMC can only be set by entering a url, it would be nice if people can upload it like as a file

In case of WMC-attachement show an Open Map button

If protocol is OGC:WMC, then show a link to open the WMC document

Extend the WMCManager.js

The WMCManager gets an additional method to load a WMC file from a url

Remarks

• In time we should support the OWSContext in stead of WMC
• resources.get does currently not properly manage .xml/.wmc files, they are returned as application/binary, which are not allowed by default by the proxy
• In time it would be nice to enable users to comment on the WMC
• a 19139 template should be added fit for WMC uploads
• no implementation yet in the widget interface
