Proposal

Improve keyword selection from thesaurus in editing mode. This new keyword search interface is much more modular than the current autocompletion list and improve usability and speed up keyword selection process.

It allows editors to:

• do one or more searches in all thesaurus registered in the catalogue.
• select one or more keywords added to the selected items list (using arrows or drag & drop) on the right.
• add the selected keywords directly into metadata, grouping keywords by thesaurus.

The search interface allows editors to choose the maximum number of keywords to returns, and the thesaurus to search into (default is all).

Details

• The keyword selection popup is based on an Ext.js panel.
• The add action is based on using the _X prefix for element reference to add a fragment of XML to a metadata document (as geo-editor mecanism for GML polygon into bounding polygon element).
• A parameter is defined to set the number of characters to type before search (2 by default)
