Massive thumbnail insert/update/delete

Recently we imported hundreds of records into our Geonetwork-MEST through batch XML import for one dataset type from the one organisation all having the same thumbnail. However there is no equivalent 'batch' process for thumbnail attachment and it very time consuming to import thumbnails one-by-one for hundreds of records.

Therefore this enhancement proposes a method to apply the same thumbnail to a mass of selected records.

Specification / Work Flow

1. User does a search to subset the records for which to apply

the thumbnail.

2. User checks all records with 'Select All' or selects

an individual set with the check box next to each record title.

3. User expands 'Actions on selected metadata' and selects either:

1. Upload thumbnail
2. Delete thumbnail
3. Update thumbnail

4. Selecting 1 or three actions above:

1. Upload thumbnail

-User is taken to the /metadata.thumbnail.form -User browses for thumbnail file (.gif, .jpg etc) -User uploads thumbnail and clicks add applying thumbnail to all selected

2. Delete thumbnail

-User taken to delete form -Selects delete and thumbnails removed on all selected

3. Update thumbnail

-User taken to update form -User browses for new thumbnail file (.gif, .jpg etc) -Selects update and thumbnails updated on all selected
