Follow on from bug 267 - Left sidebar outdated

Thanks for fixing 267, I can confirm this works now. I've used the checkbox-delete function to delete all of the metadata in my database, and while the main page updates with the new search results, the left column has the "GeoRSS" thing, and this part of the screen is still showing all the now-not-existant datasets. Screenshot attached as example.
