Description
2.6.0RC0 I search for metadata templates, find them, then delete one. Up pops the little box at the top saying "Metadata ID X deleted" or whatever. That all works. When I click the cross to close the little pop-up the entire page refreshes, including the left column. First a suggestion - the entire page shouldn't refresh, only the search results; given you're using AJAX stuff I guess that's doable.
But to the bug - When the page refreshes the left-column appears, does that fancy sliding stuff, then completely vanishes. See screenshot. Tested in IE 7.0.5730.13, Opera 10.60, FF 3.6.6. This does NOT happen in IE (there the leftbar remains showing just fine), but it does happen in opera and Firefox. Note: I have been fiddling with the search code a little but only to comment things out (sections I don't want showing). I'm pretty confident I've not done anything to compromise this - I'd advise teesting on a clear install.

I can confirm this happens in an un-altered 2.6.0RC0 install. So it's not my tweaks.
