GAST Synchronize does not work

Description
On OS X I tried to run the Synchronize function of GAST to change the URLs in metadata from localhost into 127.0.0.1 The process silently fails and no changes have been made to the metadata.

Works also on OS X. I should have shut down the web application first... We should add an instruction in GAST, including a warning in case GN is running so the synching can not be performed.

Works ok on Linux, Windoze using latest trunk - change was made at trunk svn rev 4546 (after rc2 unfortunately) so that gast picks up the saxon xslt engine - does it work on OSX with that change?
